Solid Metal Piling has pile and soil testing options to meet your requirements and budget. AS2159 compliant pile testing can confirm the compressive, tension and lateral capacity of screw piles in situ. These tests are completed under the supervision of the company’s third-party consulting engineers to confirm compliance and accuracy.

CTC (Correlation Torque Capacity) Tests
CTC (correlation torque capacity) tests are a quick and accurate method of confirming the ultimate geotechnical strength of screw pile options at various depths on your site. These tests see us screw piles into the soil recording torque readings incrementally with our calibrated equipment.
These tests are quick, accurate and cost-effective. Our equipment only needs 1M of side access. There is no limit to the depth we can test to. -
DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer) Tests
See our field technicians supplement your existing geotech testing by carrying DCP testing deeper than your original site classification report may have been taken to. These tests can be conducted quickly and cost-effectively.
